Krobia xinguensis, a new species of cichlid fish from the Xingu River drainage in Brazil (Teleostei: Cichlidae)

Abstract
Krobia xinguensis is described from localities in the headwaters and in the lower part of the rio Xingu. It is distinguished from the other two species in the genus, K. guianensis and K. itanyi, primarily by deeper caudal peduncle, and details of the colour pattern, including contrasting interorbital stripes and a small dark spot anteriorly on each side of the lower jaw.
Krobia xinguensis represents a considerable range extension of the genus from the Guianas and northern tributaries of the lower Amazon, into a major south bank Amazon tributary.

J'ai juste survolé mais je note que l'auteur argumente pour un maintien d'A. potaroensis et A. paloemeuensis parmi les Aequidens

Oui mais en disant qu'ils méritent un genre nouveau et que le genre Aequidens est actuellement un fourre tout

j'ai la chance d'héberger des krobia itanyi, des cg guianensis et des sp xingu= à mon humble avis le dernier n'est pas à regrouper avec les deux premiers....(taille, forme, comportement, maintenance....)
J'ai pas vérifié les ribosomes..... :P2
